The 10″ JBL PRX710 1500W Two-Way Multipurpose Self-Powered Speaker is designed for live sound reinforcement applications, such as concerts, schools, and houses of worship among others. The speaker is built from poplar plywood with an obsidian DuraFlex finish using tongue and groove joinery for stronger bracing and less box vibration. It utilizes a 10″ low-distortion, low-frequency woofer, a wave-guided 1.5″ diameter neodymium compression driver, and a class-D amplifier to achieve a maximum SPL of 133 dB and a boosted frequency response of 42.9 to 20,000 Hz.
